Thoughts for the month:

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better’

Creating your own success strategy ...
- Decide what you want to change/ improve in 2009
- Ask yourself, ‘what would this give me?’
- Now ask yourself, ‘What do I need to do to make this happen within the next 12 months?’
- Consider what you have successfully achieved in the past and write down each step it took to get you there as well as what led you to finally decide on taking action.
- Avoid the self-doubt. As soon as you decide to make changes in your life the voice of self-doubt creeps in. Once you begin listening to your negative thoughts, they will kill even the best of intentions.
- Change behaviours that haven’t worked before.
- Stay focused on the outcome.
- Check to make sure you are getting the results you want
If you enjoy exploring self development and want to make 2009 a great year, then my event on 10th January in Ipswich is designed with you in mind! See following link for details : ACHIEVE PERSONAL SUCCESS IN 2009
Another positive note ....
I am often inspired by people I meet in the course of my work and I would like to share the story of one of my clients with you, as I am hoping you may feel inclined to help her on her journey.
Lynne came to me when I was sitting on a couch in Ipswich high street, as part of a publicity stunt, earlier last year. She looked tired and tearful and I soon discovered she was nursing her terminally ill husband whilst helping her daughter run her business. She had experienced many setbacks in her life but she is a fighter and will not allow things to get the better of her. When I asked her: ’if I could wave a magic wand and make a wish come true, what would it be?’ she said she would like to find the means to make a difference to peoples lives out In Africa, most especially Senegal and Ethiopia.
Out of this has evolved a project whereby Lynne hopes to raise £500,000 and work on local communities to improve their sustainability. She will travel across Africa in a Landrover and write a book of her adventures, on her return. Her husband, Gordon, is fully supportive of Lynne and as he is a talented photographer, he will be contributing with some of his lovely photos, with all proceeds from sales going towards the project.
I would not be doing my job very well if I did not step outside my OWN comfort zone and for that reason, I have decided to undertake a sponsored slim in order to help Lynne in a very small way towards her dream.
I will keep you updated with the projects progress each month and in the meantime, any pledges for my sponsored slim (no matter how small) will be put to a very worthwhile cause.
Please contact me by email if you would be interested in making a pledge.
Have a good month,
