I’d like to thank everyone who came to visit me at The One Life Live Show at Olympia last month; not only was it great to meet up with friends but for all of those of you who came and sat on my couch, welcome to my newsletter and thanks for taking the time to chat to me.
I met some inspirational people, all of whom had a unique story to tell and what became apparent during the course of the weekend is that many people are viewing the current economic situation as an opportunity to make changes in their lives, rather than being a disaster.
Many of you told me that you are thinking of setting up your own business as a result of being made redundant and so, as a special offer for the Month of April only, I am offering my ‘5 steps to setting up your own business’ package for a 20% discount. The package covers 5 hourly sessions including all written materials and e-mails and looks at whether YOU are suited to self-employment and covers an outline of legal, marketing, business planning & financial considerations.
Finally, don’t forget to take advantage of your FREE coaching session in order to discover how you can make those changes you may want to in your life but don’t know how. Contact me today

How confident are you ?
Many people I meet in the course of my work admit they lack self-confidence and this quite often gets in the way of their ambitions and dreams. So here are a few tips on how to become more self-confident.
As with anything in life, you will need to change your current habits and beliefs and practice the new ways of approaching things, over a period of time.
Why not give a couple of these suggestions a go and see how you get on ....
8 small steps to a more confident you...
- Accept and like yourself; warts and all!
- Celebrate your successes; people with low self-confidence often undermine their abilities and over- emphasise their shortcomings.
- Reach out to other people; by asking others how they are, you are taking the attention away from yourself and other people like nothing more than to talk about themselves!
- Never be afraid to say no & speak the truth.
How else will people know what you want?
- Set out to achieve your goals but don’t set them so high that they are unachievable.
- Relax, smile frequently and aim to live your life to the full.
- Stop trying to get everything right -
no one is perfect!
And finally .....
- Never compare yourself with anyone else -
YOU are a unique individual who deserves to be heard!
Progress report on our African Project ....
Lynne I are meeting on a regular basis, so we can make some inroads into the long journey of planning and organising ahead of us.
We have found some contacts for fundraising activities and are awaiting replies from Ethiopia, concerning projects currently needing financial input.
PLEASE keep pledging your money for my sponsored slim (I reached my first stone lost in March) in the knowledge that it is going to a good cause.
Once we have more tangible details to report, they will be posted in my monthly newsletter.
Have a lovely Easter and I’ll be in touch again next month!
